My name is Laura Duggan, I am in my fourth year of Ceramic Design at Limerick School of Art and Design. I enjoy simple designs with shapes and patterns. I like to use a broad selection of slips and oxide slips on my works and I find when both are combined together the final work is interesting.
My work explores my dyslexia, how I answer to it and overcome the differences of thinking I encounter in everyday life. To overcome my dyslexia I use structure, frequency, consistency and repetition and this is reflected in my work.
